What is your primary product or service?
We are a craft distillery producing gin, vodka, flavored vodka and whiskey
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We saw the popularity of craft beer and wine and realized that there were no locally based distilled spirits being produced any longer.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Obviously, our biggest points of difference are with the major, multinational brands that rely on marketing more than product quality to sell their brands. Within the craft/local category the differences between brands is more about taste and personality, rather than quality - there are now hundreds of small distilleries producing wonderful spirits. For us we feel our water here in Bend is so ideal that you can taste the difference in every sip.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a single distillery in Bend, Oregon and are distributed in about 35 states.
