What is your primary product or service?
I am the author of 7 books, 10 DVD's, a game, a CD of songs, and the C.A.R.E.S. Educational Curriculum to be used with children ages 3 to 9.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have a Master's Degree in Elementary School Counseling and I am a past Instructor in the Family and Child Development Department, Auburn University. I wrote the resources as easy-to-use tools to enhance the parent, teacher, counselor-child relationship and to teach children basic life skills.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My resources are unique. Although the DVDs were produced in Bend with area children, they are marketed out of New York and are available on Amazon.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The resources are available through Amazon or through the web site.
What type of payments do you accept?
My publisher, The Guidance Group, accepts checks, VISA, MC, AM EX, and DIS cards as well as school or agency purchase orders.
