How long have you been in business?
Since 1996, we were originally the Blue Bucket Mining Company.
What is your primary product or service?
Metal Detectors, Gold Prospecting equipment and supplies, treasure hunting, rockhounding, rock tumbling and gold panning kits.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
By going with a friend to try prospecting and detecting out. As store manager I started off originally as a bookkeeper and that's how I met the owners of the store and just started working for them and absolutely love it.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the largest prospecting and metal detector retail store in Oregon.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently just the one in Bend and the possibility of expanding is in the plan.
Provide detailed directions to your location
East on highway 20 to one block before 27th street, take a left into the Costco Forum. As you are facing Office Max and T-Mobile we are on the left side of the building in Suite 140.
What type of payments do you accept?
VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discovery, checks, money orders and of course cash.
Which areas do you service?
All over the United States and other countries as well.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Les and Carol Berg and John Jones own the company. Julie Neff, Office Manager run the daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Christmas Holiday Hours: Monday thru Friday 10am - 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. After Christmas Holidays: Tuesday thru Friday 10am - 5pm and Saturday 12pm to 4pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays

Being satisfied with their product(s) and service, that we did an awesome job.
