Wow, wow, wow! We just frew the Winter Wonderland Flight of Broken Top Mountain and Mt Bachelor so much fun to see the folks skiing and carving up the fresh morning powder below us. Amazing views with a great pilot, cannot say enough, hope to do it again!

How long have you been in business?
Big Mountain Heli Tours was started in late 2016.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer scenic and bespoke helicopter flights in and around Central Oregon. We have also partnered with a number of leading locations from Faith, Hope and Charity Vineyards, to the Erickson Aircraft Collection in Madras to take guests by air to experience remote and scenic adventures.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As Bend residents we often looked up and saw little green R44 helicopters in the skies above Bend. That lead to a conversation with Leading Edge Aviation about scenic tours in the region. From there we quickly discovered a need from local resorts and tourism operations as far away as Madras to offer these guests something new, private and unique to their vacation choices in Bend.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Bend tourism slate offers many exciting and world class 2D experiences. By adding scenic flight and adventures by air we'll add a unique and exciting 3D layer. We also make Central Oregon more accessible to those who cannot climb our Cascade Mountains, or who perhaps do not have the time to travel all the way to Madras to enjoy the Erickson Aircraft Museum. Scenic flight is new to Central oregon and we're excited to offer it here and share our own backyard.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a five year expansion plan to create satellite tour bases in and around Central Oregon and in 2018 to expand our winter program. Stay tuned!
